Balloons over Bend- night light up in Old Mill District June 7th Les Schwab amphitheater Cynder will be there playing PyroBeat and should be an excellent show with the giant glowing balloons.

Bite of Bend June 21-22 downtown. Random stilt and acro all day and fire at night. Plus good food, beer and people watching.

Four Peaks Music Festival Blacklight show July 25-27. Check out all the events at four peaks website.
All fire shows start around dusk.

Boise Dance for a good cause!

I know that some of you Bend fire folks are coming into Boise on Friday for the Boise Fire Arts show. We're hosting a great party that we hope you'll come by for after!

Friday, April 18th (one week from this one!), we're hosting a fund raiser for a Burning Man art project! DJs include Nappy Jeff (he's a virgin, be gentle), Kel Thomas, stEvil, and DJ Stormshadow! $5 to get you into the Bucket, show starts at 8.

This is a fundraiser for a memorial that will be built at Burning Man this year. A field of skis, over 100 feet long by 30 feet wide rises from the dusty playa. A path down the middle leads you to two benches, and a lone set of skis, a helmet, and boots. Brad Peterson was my friend, Judis' lover, and a great man. He died doing what he loved, skiing the trees, this winter. He was solo at the time, but not alone. We're bringing his skis, and at least another hundred pair, to remind ourselves, and Brad, that we wasn't really alone.

Please come out and support this project, hear great music, and dance with your friends. We need rebar (anybody got some waste, 18 to 24 inches) and hardware.

I've already got almost 100 pairs of skis, although we'll take yours too!

The Spinsterz is moving to Bend!

Hola friends,

I am flying back from Guatemala this Tues 4th and I will be moving to Bend. I am looking for either a roommate situation or a place of my own under $700 per month.

Since I have a business to run, I would need a space to set up a small workshop to build my products and store my inventory. Part of a garage works well or possibility of renting two rooms. I don´t make much noise when manufacturing my products, maybe some light hammering and drilling every few days. I do have a pretty significant amount of inventory and shipping supplies, taking up about one whole side of a garage if I have it organized really well, which i would.

I am hoping to be into a place no later than the 10th. Please contact me if you can offer me something.

Hey Just wanted to get in touch with some other Burnners from central Oregon. I was a newby last year and centered state took me under their wing. It looks like every one is spreading out this year and camping on their own. I am looking for the community feel that I so much enjoyed before. I heard a rumor that Bend Burners meet at the Grove once a week, If this is true I would love to come and check it out. Sooooo, if anyone has any info that way it would be greatly apprecicted.
